Ocean Boys NPL tie off over security
Reports reaching MTNFootball.com said the centre referee refused to let the game start on Sunday because there were no security men at the stadium and he thereby called off the game.
Kaduna United media officer Abdullahi Tonga told MTNFootball.com that the referee called off the game for the benefit of all.
He said, "It was a good decision by the referee because it is not safe to start a game or play a game without security, the centre referee saw this and called off the game.”
In Uyo, Akwa United defeated Enyimba 2-1 to move to fourth position on the table with 54 points.
Six-time champions Enyimba slipped to fifth place.
Menshak Emeka drew the first blood in the third minute, before Solomon Jabason added the winner in the 32nd minute.
