Shooting Stars mercurial midfielder Philip Asuquo is the MTNFootball.com NPL Star of the Week after a five-star outing against leaders Enugu Rangers in a Week 35 tie at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.
   
The former Crown FC playmaker was cynosure of all eyes in the middle of the pack.

He was picked ahead of his team mate Sola Adeboye, Gambo Mohammed of Kano Pillars, who fired his 13th goal of the campaign, and Dayo Ojo of Sunshine Stars.

The midfielder’s dribbling skills, marking as well as good ball distribution were the reasons 3SC beat Rangers.

Asuquo's long distance pass produced the first-half match winner by Moses Ogaga.

He is calm, fast and strong, whose team tick when he is in his element.
