Heartland seek Sharks scalp
Heartland celebrate
Heartland lost the reverse fixture in Calabar 1-0.
Heartland defender Chinedu Efugh told MTNFootball.com that they are confident they will avenge that defeat as they are very much at home in Port Harcourt, which next door to their Owerri base.
“It is going to be like every other game, we are going there with the hope of revenge after we lost our first leg 1-0 in Calabar, and it was our home game,” Efugh said
“Now it is our turn to go to their home ground and do same, Port Harcourt is now our home having won a lot of fans to our side due our recent displays in the Federation Cup. It will be tough but we are going for victory.”
Sharks hard working winger Terry Envoh told MTNFootball.com that they are equally going for victory in this encounter.
“Nothing less than the three points will be good enough for us. We beat them 1-0 at their home, so we will make it a double victory over them this season. We need to make our fans happy after our elimination from the Federation Cup,” the former Nigeria U20 star said.
