The Bauchi club have now recorded 42 points from 31 points to move from 18th position on the table to 15th, while Kaduna are deeper in the relegation pack, 18th in the standings on 40 points.
Former JUTH FC of Jos forward Victor Yakubu put the Bauchi team in front after just two minutes when he fired a 20-yard shot into the net after he outwitted his marker.
Mustapha Ibrahim stepped forward to score from the penalty spot after his goal-bound shot was stopped with hand by a Kaduna United player in the 85th minute.
Victor Yakubu who scored his third goal of the season in this game, told MTNFootball.com that he has set his sights on scoring more goals.
"It was a good game. I am happy to have scored the goal against Kaduna United. I am looking forward to scoring more goals as the season goes on," he promised.
In the meantime, Kaduna United chairman, Sabo Babayaro, has told MTNFootball.com that there are no plans to re-engage Belgian coach Maurice Cooreman.
Babayaro admitted that he has kept close contact with Cooreman but there has never been in any discussions to lure him back from Warri Wolves.
“We have kept in regular touch even after he left us for Warri Wolves, but there are no plans for him to rejoin us,” he said.
