Kano Pillars outstanding NPL matches against Enyimba and Heartland have been rescheduled, according to officials.

NPL executive secretary Tunji Babalola told MTNFootball.com that Pillars will now welcome Enyimba in an outstanding Week 5 match on February 29, while they host Heartland in a postponed week 8 clash on March 7.

Both matches were shifted following security concerns in Kano following a bomb attack on the northern Nigeria city by the terrorist sect Boko Haram recently.

Babalola further disclosed that both matches will be played behind closed doors unless the security situation in Kano has been given the all-clear.

Meanwhile, Pillars striker Manir Ubale has resumed training with the rest of the squad after a knee injury that sidelined him for about two weeks.

“He was injured in our match against Kwara, but he is fit again and he will travel with us for our match on Sunday against Ocean Boys in Yenagoa,” Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa told MTNFootball.com
