Kano Pillars are to now play their home league games in Hadejia due to the security concerns in Kano following a multiple bomb attack there recently.

Acting executive secretary of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Tunji Babalola, informed MTNFootball.com that the Hadejia Stadium has been approved to stage Pillars home games beginning with Sunday’s game against Kwara United.

"Kano Pillars game against Kwara United will be played on Sunday at Pillars new home ground of Hadejia,” said Babalola.

“We have approved for them to play their home matches there until security in the city of Kano has improved."

The NPL called off the match between Kano Pillars and Enyimba soon after the bomb attacks on the Northern Nigerian city of Kano by the terrorist sect Boko Haram.
