Yampe rejoins Plateau United
Ex-Kano Pillars ace John Boyi Yampe has vowed to help Plateau United win promotion back to the NPL on his second coming to the club.

"I have rejoined Plateau United for 2012/2013 season and my aim is to help the team get back to the Premier League. With what is on ground here at United, we are good for the Premier League,” Yampe told MTNFootball.com

“There are good players and coaches, so if supported well by government, which I believe will happen considering the kind of management in place, promotion will be secured.”

The former JUTH FC of Jos captain was released by Nigeria Premier League champions Kano Pillars after helping them clinch the title last season.

The energetic fullback spent three seasons at Pillars.

Yampe's experience will most certainly be an advantage to the ambitious Jos-based team as they aim to return to the Nigerian top flight after a third season in the lower league.
