NPL have arranged for the final home ties of Ilorin clubs Kwara United and ABS to also be played at the same time on Friday, September 7.

Kwara will host Shooting Stars, while ABS will welcome Ocean Boys.

Officials informed MTNFootball.com that the two games were a big source of concern but the NPL have now ruled that one of the teams would have to pick an alternative venue for their final game of the season to ensure that all 10 games on the final day kick off at the same time.

“All the matches of Week 38 will be played on the same day and at the same time. ABS FC and Kwara United, who will both play at home, will still played their games at the same time, meaning one of them will have to seek for an alternative venue,” said NPL executive secretary Tunji Babalola.

“There is the Offa Stadium for instance and we have notified them of the date and time of the games so they know what to do, that is not the problem.

“ABS would most likely not play in Ilorin on the last day as Kwara United, who are owned by the state government, may be the ones to play there since the government owns the stadium."
