Aneke’s agent, Hassan Egilmez told MTNFootball.com that he is negotiating with Al Ahly as well as a Swiss side on behalf of the Warri Wolves striker, who set a new goals record last season when he scored 20 goals for Kaduna United.
“Al Ahly want Aneke, and we are talking, even a team in Switzerland want him. I am talking with them all,” Egilmez told MTNFootball.com
Aneke also confirmed that his agent has informed him of Ahly’s interest and so he is very much hopeful he could soon finalise an agreement.
“It is true that Al Ahly want me. I also learnt there are interests from Turkey, Russia and Switzerland,” said the centre-forward, who has been capped by Nigeria at full international and Olympic levels.
“I should leave for Egypt this week to seal the deal, I’m not for trials there. But I am waiting on my agent.”
