Imenger off to Sweden
Kwara United striker Barnabas Imenger has signed a six-month contract with second division Swedish side Trelleborg FF.

Imenger was handed the contract after he impressed during a two-week trial.

"I am happy to sign. For me, it’s a fresh challenge and an opportunity to develop myself as a player," stated Imenger.

"It’s a six-month deal which could be extended but the aim is to help Trelleborg avoid relegation after which other things would follow".

They are currently 13th on the 16-team Swedish second division with 18 points from as many matches.

Barnabas, a skilful striker who has been capped by Nigeria, netted five times for Kwara United before he left for Sweden.
