A new timetable has been announced for the closing weeks of the Nigeria Premier League 2010/11 season.

According to the NPL, the season, which was earlier fixed to end on November 2, will now end on November 13.

Week 35 matches will go ahead as planned on Sunday, but Week 36 matches will now come up on November 2, while Week 37 will be played a week later.

Sunshine Stars CAF Confederation Cup semi-final return leg match at Club Africain of Tunisia on October 29 forced the league to go on a 10-day recess after Week 35 matches.

The final Week 38 matches will now be played on November 13.

Sunshine Stars are top of the 20-team championship with 64 points from 34 matches.

The eventual champions along with the runners-up will fly Nigeria’s flag in next year’s CAF Champions League.
