Utaka, Raheem Lawal to join Eagles

John Utaka, Austin Ejide and Raheem Lawal are the last foreign pros expected to join the Super Eagles Monday in Calabar.

The three players are the only call-ups yet to arrive the Calabar training camp of the Eagles as coach Stephen Keshi got down to serious business with the team.

While Raheem Lawal was in action for Atletico Belares in A Spanish Secunda B playoff at the weekend, John Utaka and Austin Ejide attended the wedding of Osaze Odemwingie in London at the weekend.

A total of 24 players trained Monday morning at the University of Calabar Stadium with 12 foreign-based and 12 home-based.

Among the foreign-based players were goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Elderson Echiejile, Efe Ambrose, Gege Soriola, Fengor Ogude, Ahmed Musa, Victor Moses, Sone Aluko, Ike Uche, Obiora Nwankwo, Nnamdi Oduamadi and Ekigho Ehiosun.

The Eagles will also train Monday evening.
