Utaka back in form
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has revealed that Chelsea ace Mikel Obi as well as France-based striker John Utaka are set to return next month.

Mikel has yet to feature under Keshi, who was appointed in November, while Utaka fell out of favour since he made the final squad for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

"For Mikel Obi, he is on the books for players I am looking  at for the month of June and like every other player I have been monitoring, for instance John Utaka is doing very well in France and nobody is talking about him,” Keshi told MTNFootball.com in an exclusive interview.

“The young boy at VVV Venlo, Michael Uchebo (also interests me), he scored at the weekend and he’s on my books for the June games."

Utaka has rediscovered his form after he returned to the French Ligue 1 from England as he has fully established himself at title-chasing Montpellier.

Keshi has been equally delighted with the form of winger Victor Moses, who he capped in a 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Rwanda in February. “Victor Moses has been in a devastating form and I am happy because it’s good for the National team," saluted the Eagles coach.

Keshi please make Mikel Super Eagles captain, we need a captain with winning mentality. let Yobo should retire and rest with his bad luck. All he know is how to gather caps with no trophy to show for it. Mikel is a winner, he should be made Super Eagles captain, and they will start wining like King Kanu. This is the era of Mikel, Chinedu Egbuke and Promise Isaac etc.
