Delayed Raheem Lawal has finally arrived Nigeria just as injured Nnamdi Oduamadi could miss Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Namibia.

Already ruled out of the Namibia game, Atletico Belares of Spain midfielder Lawal, who was held back in Spain due to work permit issues arrived, Lagos on Friday.

With a lot of relief on his face, Lawal told MTNFootball.com," I am glad I am here at last and the permit problem has been resolved. I’m however sad that I will miss the Namibia game but God knows best."

"I will be heading to Calabar tomorrow (Saturday) because there is no flight to Calabar right now."

Lawal would miss the opportunity of training with the Eagles as they would be having their final training Saturday morning.

Torino of Italy winger Nnamdi Oduamadi, on the other hand, is now a major doubt for Sunday’s 2014 World Cup qualifier after he suffered a knock in the Eagles training on Friday and had to sit out the remainder of the session.

"He will have to rest the leg and then we see how he fares during the morning session," a top official stated.

Coach Stephen Keshi's would now have to make adjustment to his probable 4-4-2 formation as Oduamadi was a likely starter against Namibia.

I'm happy Raheem is in because he is one of the best potentials in this team.
