NFF general secretary Musa Amadu told MTNFootball.com:"We look forward to a favourable draw. But like coach Keshi has said, his team are prepared for any country.
“That we are seeded means we will avoid some big names but we all know that there are no minnows any more in Africa Football."
The final qualifying round draw for the 2013 AFCON will be staged at the Tanz Cafe-Emperors Palace, Ekurhuleni, near the international airport in Johannesburg.
Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Nigeria, Sudan, Tunisia, Zambia and Egypt or Morocco are the seeded countries.
The unseeded countries are Botswana, Cape Verde Islands, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Liberia, Libya, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Morocco or Central African Republic.
Venues for the January 19-February 10 tournament are Soccer City in Johannesburg, Moses Mabhiba Stadium in Durban, Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Rustenburg, Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit and the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
