Delta FA ban fan for assault

The fan beat up a player, Bajowa Segun, forcing the match to be abandoned in the first half with scores at 1-1.
In an official release signed by spokesperson Timi Ebikagboro, the Delta FA condemned the behaviour of the fan, saying such action against players is uncalled for.
Ebikagboro further stated Ugbameta is a threat to stadium security and so he is no longer welcomed within any match venue.
The fan is also in police custody awaiting the conclusion of investigations into his unruly behaviour before he is charged to court.
