Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo has predicted that Saturday’s Nations Cup qualifier against Rwanda will not be as easy as many believe.

Both teams played out a 0-0 draw in Kigali in February with the overall winners now to advance to the final qualifying round for the 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa.

"I know what we went through in the first leg last February. It would be a very open game and also difficult. But am confident that the Eagles will have the day," said Yobo, who has now been ruled out of the match due to injury, told MTNFootball.com

"The team therefore need all the support they can get from Nigerians. We are determined to ensure that we qualify for the Nations Cup but we cannot do it alone and so we need everyone's support.

Yobo and Italy-based winger Nnamdi Oduamadi have been ruled out of Saturday’s game as a result of injury.

In the meantime, the Eagles have promised a resounding win against Rwanda in Calabar.

FC Ashdod defender Efe Ambrose told MTNFootball.com they will win convincingly.

"We are battle ready for the Rwanda match. It is an important game. We are going all out for an emphatic victory," he said.

Atletico Beleares midfielder Raheem Lawal, who is looking forward to his first Eagles start, added: "This is a game we have prepared well for and to win, Rwandans are good team no doubt but they are not our match. We are looking forward to score as many goals as we can."

Wigan Athletic winger Victor Moses said the Eagles further stated, "We have been trying hard in training especially goal scoring training. I am sure we will beat Rwanda. We are approaching the game with all seriousness."
