Eaglets resume training Saturday
“The team will resume their training ahead of their qualifier against Niger on Saturday, July 28 in Calabar,” said Emmanuel Ikpeme, director technical of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The Eaglets, under coach Manu Garba, also spent a month in Calabar recently.
Last week, Manu Garba was in Abuja to finalise arrangement for his team to resume training.
Three-time world champions Nigeria at U17 level are pitched against next-door neighbours Niger in a qualifying match for the 2013 African Junior Championship to be hosted by Morocco in April.
