Turkey or Ukraine for Ehiosun
Ehiosun - Turkey or Ukraine?
“He has offers from Ukraine and, of course, Turkey, where he played on loan last season,” Warri Wolves spokesman Timi Ebikagboro informed MTNFootball.com
“The offer from Ukraine is a lot better than what the Turkish clubs are tabling but at the same time the player said he would prefer to stay put in Turkey but at the right price.”
Ehiosun, who has also featured for Nigeria's Olympic team, scored nine goals on loan to Samsunspor last term, but the Turkish club have since been relegated to the lower league.
Ebikagboro said Samsunspor have now been ruled out of the race to sign the Nigeria international.
“He won’t be returning to Samsunspor because he says he does not wish to play in the Turkish second division,” said the top Warri Wolves official.
Trabzonspor, who finished third in the Turkish top flight last season, are reported to be one of the clubs now chasing the all-action striker.
Ebikagboro also maintained that Wolves are not demanding for millions of dollars as transfer fee from any prospective buyer.
“We are not asking for millions of dollars for the player. In fact, our asking price is not even up to a million dollars,” he said.
