Omotoyossi quits Egypt
Benin international striker Razak Omotoyossi has cancelled his contract with Egyptian club Zamalek after they failed to pay him.

“I have cancelled my contract with Zamalek after they failed to pay me for two months,” Omotoyossi informed MTNFootball.com

“I have already informed FIFA and the club of my decision.”

He added: “I have proved myself in Africa again and I now wish to move on.”

Omotoyossi has already returned to Nigeria and was not part of the Zamalek team who lost 3-2 at Berekum Chelsea of Ghana at the weekend in a CAF Champions League Group B match.

The Nigerian-born striker joined Zamalek last year and after a difficult start he settled down to start firing goals for the big Cairo club.

The 26-year-old striker has had a chequered club career since he left Swedish club Helsingborg in 2008 after a very productive strike partnership with Sweden World Cup star Henrik Larsson.

The power-playing striker has gone on to feature in Saudi Arabia (Al Nassr), FC Metz (France), GAIS, Syrianska (Sweden), before he sensationally moved to Zamalek.

He is an established Benin international since he made his debut eight years ago.
