The Round of 32 matches involving Pillars and Kaduna United as well as Enyimba and Kogi United were moved to Sunday following a heavy downpour in Jos the previous day.
Nafiu Ibrahim opened scoring for Pillars against 2010 Federation Cup winners Kaduna after 57 minutes, before Manir Ubale doubled their lead on 68 minutes.
Pillars have dedicated the victory over their neighbours to striker Nasiru Ali, who wedded Naja’atu Jibrin in Kano on Saturday.
Enyimba were 1-0 winners over Kogi United in the first game of the day courtesy of a 40th minute strike by youth international midfielder Nzube Anaezemba.
