Nigeria U17, the Golden Eaglets, are billed to tackle Ghana and Rwanda in warm-up games prior to their qualifier in Niger, officials said.

Chairman of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chris Green, disclosed that the Eaglets will host their Rwandese counterparts in a two-game series at their training base of Calabar by month’s end.

They Eaglets are also to play home and away against the Black Starlets of Ghana in another round of warm-up games before the battle Niger in a 2013 African junior Championship in September.

“The matches have been confirmed and we also plan that they also travel to Rwanda for another friendly after their match against Niger,” Green told MTNFootball.com

Last month, Nigeria U20 team took on their Rwandese counterparts in a warm-up game before an AYC qualifier in Tanzania.

The Eaglets are currently playing test games against academy teams in Calabar as they begin their build-up for the match against Niger.
