Cameroon grab LG Cup 2011!
Samuel Eto'o and Eyong Enoh, LG Cup goal scorers for Cameroon
Nordin Amrabat answered a 73 minutes goal from skipper Samuel Eto’o just before full time, so the 2 Lions squads had to go to the penalty shootout exercise so a winner could be claimed!
And at this game, Cameroon proved the best side with Eto’o, Bédimo, Nounkeu and Enoh all on target while Morocco failed twice!
On five points after their opening 3-1 win over Sudan followed by this dramatic encounter, Cameroon overtake Ouganda only on goal difference.
The Cranes followed the same path with a shocking win over Eric Gerets men before taking the lead in another penalty shootout fixture following a goalless draw with Sudan earlier today.
But if Ouganda only managed a single goal in 2 matches, Cameroon stroke 4 times to claim overall victory.
Denis Lavagne starts his mandate with the Indomitable Lions on the right foot, and can already claim wins over 2 nations qualified for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations!

Excellent debut for Denis Lavagne though with an injury plagued team. A perfect platform for reconstruction and confidence building for the Indomitable Lions.
