AshGold draw to lose second spot
AshantiGold came from a goal down to draw
Aduana shocked the home fans by scoring the opener two minutes after the break.
Francis Larbi connected home a Godfred Saka corner kick two minutes into the second half but AshGold dramatically equalised just when celebrations had not ended.
An Aduana defender handled the ball inside the box and the centre referee Haruna Ayuba pointed to the box.
Striker Yakubu Mohammed stepped up and expertly dispatched the kick for his 13th goal of the season.
Before the game, Yakubu had talked about upstaging Emmanuel Baffour as top scorer and the goal would serve as a morale booster.
There was a scuffle in the Aduana Stars dug-out as an Aduana Stars official refused to exit the inner perimeter after he had been sent off by the referee.
