AshGold pick up second place slot
AshantiGold will play in next season's CAF Champions League
The Miners goals were scored by striker Yakubu Mohammed who finished the season with 15 goals.
Mohammed scored the first from a spot-kick in the 75th minute before powering in a free-kick six minutes later.
AshantiGold, who had a impressive second half of the season, was 14 points behind champions Asante Kotoko.
They will represent Ghana in the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup.
