Kotoko champions at halfway stage

Kotoko finished the halfway stage of the season as champions after defeating Medeama 2-1 in Kumasi on Sunday.

Daniel Nii Adjei added to Michael Akuffo's 13th minute converted penalty to give the Porcupine Warriors the victory. 

Medeama striker Tanko Mohammed capitalised on a Sulama Abdulai's goalkeeping howler on 70 minutes for the consolation.
