Edubiase envelope Hearts visit with defeat
Edubiase were superior against Hearts of Oak in the 2-0 win at home
The 22-year-old carved Hearts open just three minutes into the second half before Basit Adam sent CK Akunnor's side back to Accra without a point.
Akunnor blasted his defence for their lazy display in the first half during recess.
Asiedu Attobrah, Seidu Bancey and Emmanuel Baffour bombarded the area but Sammy Adjei resisted every single Edubiase attack with superb saves.
While Adjei was content with his form, Akunnor was worried about his defence's inability to contain Edubiase's attack.
Three minutes after the break, Edubiase's hard paid off. Striker Emmanuel Baffour enhanced his credibility as a profilic goal poacher with a clinical finish.
Baffour latched on to a Bancey low cross and shot past the all-busy Adjei for the opening goal.
Adam Basit sealed the win for Edubiase with a low drive on the 73rd minute.
Once again Asiedu Attobrah and Emmanuel Baffour were involved.
The two combined well at the edge of the area before playing through Basit.
The slippery midfield kept his composure to send a powerful low drive to the blank side of Sammy Adjei.
There was no major incident to report for the rest of the game apart from a Mahatma Otoo effort that went just inches away from goal.
