Baffour set to punish Hearts in Bekwai
The focus will be on in-form striker Emmanuel Baffour when New Edubiase
United host Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The reigning top scorer is two-goals away from equaling Ishmael Addo's
22-goal haul in 2001.
Baffour has raked in 20-goals, meaning he needs to score at least three
goals in the remaining five games to break the 11-year record held by the
former Hearts of Oak goal machine.
He scored in the corresponding fixture at the Accra Sports stadium in
November last year but his goal was disallowed.
New Edubiase go into the match after a comfortable 2-0 win over second-tier
side Yegola FC in a delayed MTN Ghana FA Cup round of 32 tie.
Hearts on the other hand survived a tenth minute scare to earn a
come-from-behind 2-1 win over second-tier side Dunkwa United on Wednesday in
Accra.
