Accam draws positives from debut Ghana call-up
David Accam believes earning a Ghana call-up is good omen
The Helsingborg player was named in Kwesi Appiah's squad which defeated Sudan 4-0 in Kumasi last week.
Accam was an unused substitute but says socializing with the national team has been beneficial.
"It was amazing. My confidence has really gone high since,'' the 22-year-old is quoted by GHANAsoccernet.com
''I always say it is a great moment when your are called to represent your country.
''And it is an experience will always cherish and take along with me.''
Accam joined Swedish champions Helsingborg in August last year after only five months at third-tier side Ostersund.
He played and excelled in this season's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round and also in the Group stages of the UEFA Europa League.
Accam is a graduate from the renowned Right to Dream Academy in Ghana.
