Rennes continue to be depleted with Boye, two others
John Boye will be sorely missed by Rennes
The centre-back has featured in all of Ghana's three matches and scored his one goal-his first at the Nations Cup.
Boye will be a pillar at the back when the Black Stars play Cape Verde in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
Rennes will also be without Jonathan Pitroipa (Burkina Faso) and Cheick Fantamady Diarra (Mali) as their countries have qualified to the last eight.
