Hearts defender Boampong returns to training
Philip Boampong has begun training with Hearts of Oak
The 21-year-old underwent surgery to correct a torn ligament in his right wrist in February.
He missed the remainder of the 2011/2012 Ghana Premier League season as a result.
"I see I am doing well. I am eager to return to play in the first team. It was a major injury but thankfully it's all over and I am back playing again," the centre-back is quoted by the club's official website.
His return will be a boost for Hearts who have a tough MTN Ghana FA Cup quarter-final clash against AshantiGold next month.
