Amissah wants to guide Jets back to top-flight
Jonas Amissah claims he can lead Mighty Jets to make a quick return to the top-flight
The former Tano Bofoakwa trainer was hired for the second time in the season but could not retain their top-flight status.
A 1-1 draw at dethroned champions Berekum Chelsea on the final day of the league condemned them to the second-tier league.
"It is so painful that we are out of the Premier League so if they (management) feel I should stay to help return the club I will be very delighted," told a local radio station.
"We should be able to come back, one of the things I will insist we do is to maintain the players so that when everybody is around I am sure we will come back within a year.
"We have done it before and I believe the experience gathered playing in the Premier division will be brought to bear to help us return to the Premier League."
Jets finished at the foot of the table with 28 points after managing five wins, 13 draws and 12 defeats.
