Chelsea face tough teams in CAF Champions League

Berekum Chelsea drew former winners Al Ahly, TP Mazembe and Zamalek in Group B of the 2012 CAF Champions League.

The dethroned Ghana Premier League champions are making their debut in the continent's flagship club competition.

Fiercest rivals Al Ahly and Zamalek from Egypt have won a combined 13 African titles with Ahly one more than the White Knights on six. 

DR Congo champions TP Mazembe are four-time winners including back-to-back wins in 2009 and 2010.

The Group matches will be played from July to September

The semi-final will be played in October and final to be staged in November.

Nigerian side Sunshine Stars will play in Group A where they face ASO Chlef of Algeria and Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia.
