Berekum Chelsea coach Johannes Van der Pluijm is positive of causing an upset
Berekum Chelsea coach Johannes Van der Pluijm can still make an impact after Tuesday's CAF Champions League tough draw.

The 2011 Ghanaian champions were paired with three former winners, Al Ahly, TP Mazembe and Zamalek in Group B.

Chelsea could be in for baptism of fire when they begin their campaign with a home clash against Zamalek.

Van der Pluijm-who took charge of the side midway into the season, believes his side can cause an upset on their debut.

''They are all former champions and therefore we have a lot of respect for them but we all got to this stage on merit and so we'll see how it goes,'' the Dutchman said.

''We have to believe in ourselves that nothing is impossible and so we’re not going to be pushovers.

''Big names don't play football these days and so we'll give our best shot. Many people ruled out our chances against Coton Sport but we all saw what happened.

''So I believe anything is possible in such competitions. We know we’re a small club but we have the men to rub shoulders with them.''

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak were the last clubs to play in the money of the Champions League six years ago.
