John Boye wants to wait till end of season to undergo surgery
Ghana defender John Boye has put his nose surgery on hold till the end of the season, MTNFootball can confirm.

Doctors recommended operation for the center-back after breaking his nose during a French Ligue 1 game against Valenciennes in early April.

The 24-year-old has been wearing a face mask and involved in all matches for Rennes.

"There are five games left for the season to close and I think I would finish the season before having the nose operation,"  Boye told MTNFootball.com

If he goes under the knife just after the season has ended, he will be a doubt for Ghana’s 2014 FIFA World Cup double-header against Zambia and Lesotho in June.

Boye has been overly impressive for Rennes this season and was revelation at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
