Regional referees chief facing dismissal after bribery probe

The Brong Ahafo Referees Association chief S.Y Berimah is facing dismissal after a Ghana Football Association ethics committee investigation into a case of alleged bribery.

He is to refund the 1000 Ghana cedis he accepted from the Chairman of Dabiso Royal F.C to help them qualify to the Division One League. 

Also, the chairman of second-tier side Dabiso Royal FC Andrew Gyakye Frimpong is set to be slapped with a six-month ban. 

He will pay a 2,000 Ghana cedis fine by offering the bribe. 

The Ethics Committee listened to the extracts of the interviews of the duo on a local radio station and submission when called before the Committee.
