Amoah sees improvement under Van Basten
Matthew Amoah wants to improve under Van Basten at Heerenveen
The 31-year-old returned to the Dutch top flight league by signing a one-year-contract for Heerenveen this month after an unsuccessful stint with Turkish side Mersin İdmanyurdu SK.
Van Basten took charge of the Eredivisie side in February and Amoah believes the former world footballer of the Year will be a fantastic trainer.
"Fantastic isn't it? I would love the experience of training under one of the best strikers in football history," Amoah said.
Amoah has an impressive scoring record of 114 goals for four different clubs.
