Muntari's ghost goal still hunts Allegri
The Ghana international scored a perfect goal with a feeble close range header but the officials failed to award the goal claiming it did not cross the line.
But television replays showed clearly the ball had crossed the line before goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon scooped it out of his post.
The match ended 1-1 and proved to be the downfall of Milan as they struggled to overtake Juventus who emerged champions after a six year wait.
Allegri however reveals he is still having nightmares over this particular decision despite his efforts to forget.
"Muntari’s disallowed goal vs. Juve? I want to forget about it, but I still have that image in my mind," he said.
"When I think about Muntari's goal vs. Juve, I ask myself: "how the hell was it possible for them to not give us that goal?"
"I can’t sleep because of it. It remains an open wound."
