Zambia FA will investigate alleged assault of Ghana players
The Football Association of Zambia says it will look into the alleged manhandling of some Ghana players after Saturday's 2014 World Cup qualifier in Ndola.

There was a melee on the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium after the final whistle when some Black Stars players rushed onto the referee Med Kordi to complain about his controversial decisions.

Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng claimed he was punched by police man and unused substitute Ben Acheampong was also a victory.

Jordan Ayew and goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey had confrontations with the security men at post.

The Ghana FA said it will use video evidence to petition FIFA over the treatment meted out to their players.

Their Zambian counterparts (FAZ) are also ready to get to the bottom of the matter.

"The Zambian FA have requested for tapes on the match from the national television station and have also implored on any private individual who has a tape covering those incidents to submit it to them," FAZ spokesperson Eric Mwanza said.

Zambia won the tie 1-0 thanks to Christopher Katongo 15th minute goal.
