Maxwell Konadu wants to fortify his squad for the return leg against Uganda
Ghana Under-20 coach Maxwell Konadu says he will tweak his squad ahead of the return leg against Uganda in two weeks.

The out-going Asante Kotoko coach faces a tough task to overturn a 2-0 deficit after losing 3-1 to the Hippos on Saturday in the 2013 African Youth Championship second qualifying round first leg tie.

Konadu will lose South Africa-based duo Mumuni Abubakar and Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi for the second leg.

He will also be scouting for an attacker and a reliable goalkeeper after Muntari Tagoe proved unconvincing between the sticks.

"You will see very little changes to the team, maybe one or two," Konadu said.

"The team is good, things didn't work for us but I am sure we will be able to beat them (Uganda) here."

The winner will face either Morocco or Gambia in the final qualifying round.
