Ghana's Under-20 team gave their preparations for the 2013 African Youth Championship qualifiers a boost by beating second-tier Eleven Wise 3-0 on Sunday.

The Black Satellites opened the scoring just under one minute when striker Benjamin Fadi lobbed a ball over the Wise goalkeeper.

Latvia-based Joseph Baffour doubled the lead with a spectacular long drive from the wings.

Striker Jacob Appau made it three after converting a spot-kick later on.

The team will leave Accra on Tuesday to play Uganda's Hippos on July 28 in the second qualifying round first leg tie.
