Black Maidens to tour Germany
The Black Maidens are set for a good display in Azerbaijan
The Black Maidens will be given the necessary training in preparation for the tournament in Azerbaijan.
Ghana have been placed in a tough Group D where they will play China, Uruguay and Germany.
The Black Maidens' opener will be against European champions Germany on September 23 in Baku before playing Uruguay three days later.
Ghana’s final Group match will be against China on September 30 also in Baku.
At the last tournament in Trinidad and Tobago, the Black Maidens failed to progress from the Group stage after finishing at the bottom.
The tournament will take place between September 22 and October 13 in Baku and Lankaran.
