Berekum Chelsea depart on Friday for TP Mazembe test

Berekum Chelsea will leave Accra on Friday to play TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League.  

The club announced on their website on Wednesday they will board a Kenya Airways flight and are expected in DR Congo on Saturday. 

The match will be played on an artificial pitch at the newly constructed 14, 500 capacity Stade TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi on Sunday.

Chelsea's 20-man squad has been training at the Tema Sports Stadium since Sunday to face the four-time champions.  

The 2011 Ghanaian champions top the Group B table after an opening day 3-2 win over giants Zamalek in Accra. 

Berekum Chelsea squad:

Goalkeepers: Ernest Sowah, Iddrisu Abubakar, Collins Addo

Defenders: Ahmed Adams, Awudu Nafiu, Edward Kpodo, Prince Anokye, Richard Kisi Boateng, Samuel Kyere, Alfred Arthur, Eric Agyemang, Richard Afari

Midfielders: Owusu Jackson, Jordan Opoku, Gladson Awako, Joseph Ato Bissah, Solomon Asante, Yaw Alexander, Abdul Basit.

Strikers: Awudu Moro, Emmanuel Clottey, Ibrahim Issaka.
