Asante Kotoko are expecting to sell five players during this transfer window, the club's management member has confirmed.

Defender Awal Mohammed will join South African Premier Soccer League side Maritzburg United.

Duo Kofi Nti Boakye and Yaw Frimpong will sign for a Saudi Arabia club and striker Ben Acheampong claims he has an offer from an unnamed European club.

Disgruntled Ivorian striker Ahmed is expected to be sold before the transfer window shuts.

Management member Alhaji Abu Lamine said quality signings will be made to replace outgoing players.

"Next year's CAF Champions League will be different; hence every measure that we will ensure our success will be put in place," he said.

Last Friday, the club's official newspaper confirmed eight new signings for the new season.
