Boakye-Yiadom ready for Juventus challenge
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is ready for the challenge at Juventus
The Italian champions announced on Thursday they have reached a deal with Genoa to sign the 18-year-old subject to him passing a medical.
Boakye spent last season on loan at Serie B side Sassuolo where he hugely impressed.
He scored nine goals to help the club advance to the semi-final of the promotional play-offs.
Boakye will leave for Italy next week with his agent Oliver Arthur to finalize the deal.
The Ghana youth international told Sunyani-based Storm FM: "It is always a dream come true for every footballer to move to a big club like Juventus.
"I cannot wait to get it started with them because that has always been my ambition so I would be happy.''
He becomes the second Ghanaian player to move to the Turin-based club this summer after Kwadwo Asamoah signed from Udinese.
