Ghana defender John Boye will not rush his future with French side Rennes after several clubs expressed interest in signing him.

Rennes have revealed several top notch European clubs have asked about the availability of the 24-year-old centre-back.

This comes after the smooth defender excelled at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

But the Route de la Lorient outfit announced a decision will be made on Boye's transfer at the end of the season.

"It's true that a lot of clubs want to sign me. It's a bit flattering but honestly I will not rush to make any decision," Boye told MTNFootball.com.

"I want to take my time and take the best decision to help my career."

Boye was a revelation at the just ended 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and was voted man-of-the-match in Ghana's opener against Botswana.
