Eric Bekoe is set to rejoin Kotoko
Asante Kotoko are 90 percent through to signing strikers Ransford Osei and Eric Bekoe, the club confirmed on Friday.

The defending
Ghana Premier League champions say they are left with the ''clearing of few technicalities'' this weekend.

''We have agreed with the players in many ways in principle and we are looking forward to concluding everything with them by the weekend,'' the club's spokesperson Listowell Bukarson told the Kotoko Express Newspaper.

Bekoe is making a return to his former club after reportedly parting ways with Egyptian side Petrojet but must provide documentary evidence is free.

The 24-year-old was sidelined for close to two seasons with knee problems.

His return to action coincided with the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League.

Bekoe had a successful 2007/2008 season  with where he emerged top scorer and Most Valuable Player of the Ghana Premier League.

Osei, a 2009 African Youth Championship goal king, has struggled to make an impact abroad after showing promising prospects.

Last season, he played for South African Premier League side Bloemfontein Celtic where he failed to earn game time.

The 21-year-old has featured for Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, FC Twente and Granada.
