Pantsil to return to his former club Hapoel Tel Aviv
John Pantsil will sign for his former club Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel
The right-back has been without a club since May when he terminated his contract with English Championship side Leicester City.
"John suits us well as a player. He connects with the fans and the club and its values," a Hapoel official said.
He first joined Hapoel Tel Aviv in December 2004 after moving from rivals Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Pantsil had a successful two-year spell which included a second place finish in the league in 2006 and won the Israeli State Cup the same year.
He made 42 appearances for Hapoel Tel Aviv and scored three goals.
Pantsil's move is expected to revive his international career after being left out of the Ghana squad which played Lesotho and Zambia in June's 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
