Kwadwo Asamoah highlighted Juventus' team spirit after Saturday's 2012 Italian Super Cup win over Napoli in Beijing.

Asamoah, who moved to the Turin Stadium this summer, scored a wonder goal that put the side on their way to a 4-2 victory.

The former Udinese man struck a volley to cancel out Edson Cavani's opening goal after 27 minutes for Napoli inside the Bird's Nest Stadium.

The Ghana international lauded his team mates for refusing to give up after going down early on.

"It was a tough game, against a very good Napoli side. We never gave up after going behind in the first half," Asamoah told the club's official website.

"We managed to level after the break then we came good with the winning goals in extra time.

"That's the team spirit we have here and it's what the lads have been showing me since day one.

"The coach deserves to have this win dedicated to him more than anyone."
