MTN Ligue 1 2012
By outclassing USC Bassam 3-1 in a postponed week 10 Ligue 1 match this Monday 14 May at the Parc des Sports de Treichville, Ecole de Football Yeo Martial (EFYM) grabbed third place in Group A.

The Ecoliers (13 points) took advantage of the exemption of Stella Club d’Adjamé to place themselves in the race for the Superdivision.

Lying two points from the leader Séwé Sports de San-Pedro (15 points), EFYM now have a strong card to play four weeks before the end of the first half of the championship.  With this win against the Insulaires, the Ecoliers now have a lead of three points on the Magnans d’Adjamé (10 points), another serious candidate in the race for the Superdivision.

This postponed match allowed the championship’s top scorer to increase his lead.  After scoring the USC Bassam’s only goal in their defeat against EFYM, Anobilé N’Doman Louis Philippe now totals ten goals, three more than his closest pursuer, Fofana Moryké of EFYM.

In Group B, AFAD have the opportunity to increase their lead when they host SOA on Wednesday 16 May at the Parc des Sports.

The ASEC-AS Denguélé clash which was initially scheduled for 17 May at the Stade Robert Champroux de Marcory, has been postponed to Thursday 24 May.
